The Routine Counter
is a tool designed by Custom Cheer Mix to give you a
better understanding of how many 8 counts you can use
in your cheerleading routine. Choose your routine time
length in the "Length" column. The numbers
to the right indicate how many 8 counts are possible
in the 115 to 155 Beat Per Minute range.

Due to the popularity of this tool, we have decided
to shrink it down to allow the view of each length,
with the amount of 8 counts during any given BPM.
Choose your routine
time length in the "Length" column. The numbers
to the right indicate how many 8 counts are possible
in the 115 to 155 Beat Per Minute range.
*Please note, depending on your ending sound effect,
these 8 count numbers maybe decreased by an 8 count
since most ending sound effects last 1-3 seconds. These
are numbers of "useable 8 counts" that we
can use without going over your time limit.

We do not limit you on the
amount of songs that you can use in your cheer mix,
but we can give you a suggestion of how many songs
will fit "comfortably" in any given time
length. Sure you can squeeze 10 or 12 songs into a
1:30 cheer mix, but you will also have a mix that
sounds rushed, choppy, or even pre-made.
We suggest using the following amounts
of songs in your cheer music. This is just a suggestion!
You do not have to follow this. Through the years,
we have found that these numbers seem to work best
and fit comfortably.
